Floating‑tray or grow‑mat method: 1) Pre‑soak seed 8–12 h and drain. 2) Spread seeds on an absorbent food‑safe grow mat (coir, hemp, jute or non‑woven mat) inside a shallow tray. 3) Maintain mat moist by adding water to tray so mat wicks water but surface isn't ponded; alternatively use a low‑flow wick system. 4) Keep temperature 15–22 °C and bright indirect light once green. 5) For short cycles (7–12 days) you can use plain potable water; if growing longer or repeatedly, use a very low strength nutrient solution (start EC ~0.5 dS/m) and change solution every 3–5 days. 6) Harvest at 7–12 days when blades are 7–12 cm tall.
